The 'Everton Haka' - a bit of fun or more embarrassing than Tom Daley's Dad?

Now I must admit to being a big fan of the new kit. It's stylish and a nod to the Everton team of yesteryear, known as The Black Watch. Yes it's pink. That seems to be the main point fans are making.

So why have Everton decided to call it the new 'All Black' away kit?

Were some Everton insiders scared of opposing fans laughing at us for wearing pink?

That I can take.

Being mocked for our awful performances on the pitch?

Yes, I'll take that on the chin.

A bunch of burly Maori men singing 'It's a Grand Old Team..' and pulling tounges for the camera?

I'm sorry, I've put up with poor performances, defensive gaffs, own goals, last day of season relegation battles and so on, but this sight must be my most embarrassing moment as an Evertonian.

It was just a bit of lighthearted fun, which I found quite amusing...
