MARK LAWRENSON: Everton FC can steam into Manchester United
THE way Everton and Manchester United are both playing there's certainly a chance that David Moyes's side can cause an upset in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley on Sunday.
I'd like to think that Everton will do it - they certainly need it more than United.
As far as I'm concerned they can go into the game with no pressure at all but the way to get at United is to adopt an 'in their face' approach.
That's what Liverpool, Fulham, Porto and even Sunderland to some extent have done in recent weeks.
You've got to pressure them and show them no respect.
Personally I think that Everton will steam into them from the kick-off and try and get a reaction.
Everton have been playing really well of late and they've been scoring plenty of goals. They got four against Wigan and then another three away at Aston Villa where it's always difficult.
One key factor for David Moyes has been the impact of record signing Marouane Fellaini.
The big Belgian is a real handful and a lot of teams have been unable to cope with his physical presence this season, especially since he pushed up into a more forward role.
He's been doing well playing virtually as a split striker and there has been plenty coming through the supply lines from the likes of Leon Osman and Steven Pienaar who have stepped up to fill the creative gap left by Mikel Arteta's injury.
Don't forget United will have to come through a testing trip to Porto during the week where they're attempting to become the first English side to win there so they're bound to still have a few heavy legs by the time Wembley comes around.
Everton have been keeping it open in the last couple of weeks and I expect them to try and make the most of the big open spaces on the Wembley turf.
Because he has a tight squad and has suffered with a few injuries, Moyes's team virtually picks itself whereas I don't think Ferguson knows his best XI at the moment in terms of form.
