LEGENDARY striker Duncan Ferguson flew back to Liverpool last night to be inducted into the final Gwladys Street Hall of Fame.

The FA Cup winner took 68% of the total number of votes by fans to win his place.

Now based in Majorca, the Scot rarely gets back to Merseyside.

Last night, he was joined by Graham Stuart, David Unsworth, chairman Bill Kenwright and Tony Kay.

Unsworth said: "It is extra special because it was voted for by the fans. It means a great deal.

"It just shows all the years you are at one club mean something."

The Gwladys Street Hall of Fame was created by David France in 1996, when 75 peerless players and five distinguished club officials were elected.

Several celebrated Blues have been added year after year, bringing the total to 126.
