Speaking With The Enemy: Everton v Aston Villa

What's your verdict on Villa's season to date?

We started moving in the right direction last season, but the improvement this time round is a big leap forward.

We're playing a counter-attacking style that make us really exciting to watch and suits the players we have.

All O'Neill's signings, apart from Nicky Shorey, have been successful straight away.

Considering how well you're doing in the Premier League and you now have a genuine chance of Champions League qualification, is the FA Cup seen as a distraction at all?

I think if we really want to become a force to be reckoned with we need to start winning trophies.

If we are realistic, the FA Cup is probably still our best chance this season.

O'Neill sends his team out to win, no matter what the competition.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There are so many Villa players doing well at the moment but who's your dangerman?

Ashley Young really makes the difference.

We did well to keep picking up victories while he was suspended.

Are there any Everton players you'd like in the Villa side?

Cahill is the obvious choice. He's got a great goalscoring record and would take some of the pressure off Agbonlahor and Heskey.

Do you think Villa's late win at Goodison a couple of months ago will have any impact on Sunday's cup tie?

Everton will be keen to get revenge.

But they will be wary of our pace upfront.

Young was the deciding factor and they will look to stifle him this time.

Finally, what's the score going to be?

I think Villa will sneak it 1-0.
