Louis Saha signs two-year deal with Everton
So you wait all summer for Everton to sign someone, anyone, becoming increasingly frustrated at being linked with every player you could possibly think of, then the club go and sign some players you've never heard of and Louis Saha.
The soon to be ex-Manchester United striker has signed for an undisclosed fee and will be an Everton player should he pass a medical today.
Thirty-year-old Saha was a prolific striker during his time at Fulham and made an encouraging start at Manchester United when he signed for the club for a fee of around £13m in 2004, scoring seven goals in his first ten appearances.
Unfortunately for the player, injury troubles have meant he has played only a bit part in Alex Ferguson's squad in recent seasons.
He becomes David Moyes' third signing in a frantic week for Everton as the manager seeks to bolster his threadbare squad.
So is Saha a quality addition or another stop gap measure until Kenwright has saved up enough of his Birthday and Christmas money to bring in the high profile acquisition we have been craving all summer?
Let's hope Louis stays fit enough for us to be able to find out.

The fitness thing worries me, but when he's on form, he's one of the best around.
Question is, does he fit in with our play?
